WBOX HD2 won't record

Recently our Wbox had problems playing back recorded content (stuttering and then stopping). Most recently the box rebooted (taking longer than usual) and all the recorded content is missing and there is no option to make a new recording. I'm guessing that the hard drive has failed but there is no message about it. Is the hard drive covered under warranty and how long is the warranty? If it's not covered is the drive user replaceable? Thanks.


  • I just noticed that there was an update available after the update the recording feature appears to be back as well as the content.

    Good to hear that it seems to be back up and running again. The warranty is valid for two years. If the issue should arise again, I recommend you to contact a DNA Kauppa, they have more information about what the warranty covers.
